Here are the steps for upgrading PHP HR:

Backup Your Current System:

  • Backup all files and the database.

Request the Database File:

Receive and Update the Database Schema:

  • After receiving the database file for PHP HR 13, update the current database schema to match the new version. This may involve adding new database tables or fields to existing tables.

Replace System Files:

  • Replace the PHP HR 5 to 11 version files with those from PHP HR 13.

Replace Database Configuration File:

  • Replace the database.php file located at application/config/ with the new version provided.
  • Update the database connection details in the new database.php file.

Transfer Media Files:

  • Transfer all old media files to the new version’s media folder.

Verify the Upgrade:

  • Thoroughly test the system to ensure everything functions correctly and no issues arise.
